Clinic PhotoAll coaches are required to be licensed by the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). A Level Y1 license is required for coaching in Evansville. ESC will be hosting a WYSA Level Y1 coaching clinic on August 24th, 6-9 PM at Theodore Robinson Intermediate School.

You must register for the course online here. All coaches must attend to receive their license unless already licensed. There is no charge for ESC coaches or coaches-to-be to attend this clinic.

Registration for this course is not yet available.

Advanced Coaching Training

The "E" Certificate is an 18-hour course targeted towards coaches teaching U10-U14 players. The course's major focus is preparing coaches to enhance the technical competence of developing players. Dribbling, heading, passing, shooting, receiving, and goalkeeping techniques are all addressed and small-sided match related games are provided for coaches so that they can create an enjoyable, but challenging learning experience for players.

Our club highly recommends this certification for our U11-U18 coaches, and it is required by MAYSA for Classic teams at this level. If you anticipate coaching for many years, seriously think about taking the course. Those who have attended the course claim it is excellent and helped them immensely.

To see upcoming class opportunities, visit the WYSA Coaching Courses list online. The Club will reimburse ESC coaches for completion of a Level E course. Please alert the Club before you attend.
